In 2015, the Serik Tolbassy Foundation provided financial support to the Kazakhstan Federation of Amateur Triathlon — Almaty Triathlon, becoming one of the first patrons to believe in the potential of this sport in the country.
Thanks to the Foundation’s support, the first official amateur triathlon championship in Kazakhstan’s history was held — a landmark event for the local sports community.

The tournament brought together over 120 athletes from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Western European countries.
It united enthusiasts, coaches, and advocates of a healthy lifestyle, laying a solid foundation for the further development of triathlon in the country.

said representatives of the Foundation.
Today, Almaty Triathlon continues to grow and evolve, while that very first championship remains a milestone in the history of Kazakhstani sports.
