Tolbassy Serik
Kazakhstani entrepreneur, philanthropist, and founder of the Serik Tolbassy Qory charitable foundation.
Serik Karabekovich Tolbassy is a Kazakhstani entrepreneur and philanthropist, founder of the TS Development group of companies and the charitable foundation "Serik Tolbasy Qory". Since 1992, he has been successfully developing commercial activities, implementing major construction projects. In 2007, he established a foundation that supports social initiatives in healthcare, education, sports, and culture. Among the significant projects are the StartTime crowdfunding platform, educational and musical program support, and initiatives for the development of mass sports. Since 2018, he has been a regional trustee of the iQanat foundation in the Turkistan region, implementing social and educational projects and programs aimed at supporting rural students and teachers. In 2022, he founded the Tennis League TS foundation to develop amateur tennis in Kazakhstan, promoting the sport and creating favorable conditions for the tennis community.
We want to create all conditions for a healthy and happy childhood, for our youth, and our Foundation is ready to support any initiative related to this.

The Beginning of Good Deeds
Serik Tolbassy Foundation was established on January 18, 2007. In 2007, he founded the "Serik Tolbassy Foundation" charitable foundation, which supports socially significant projects in healthcare, education, sports, and culture.

Opportunities for the Future
Since 2018, he has been the Regional Trustee of the iQanat Foundation for the Turkestan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which implements social and educational projects and programs aimed at supporting rural schoolchildren and teachers.

2020
A Time for Unity and Support
In 2020, during the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Serik Tolbassy Foundation was one of the first to respond to the call for assistance to medical institutions. The foundation allocated 25 million tenge to the Public Health Department of Almaty for the purchase of rapid COVID-19 tests and ventilators.
"I am confident that in such a challenging time for our country, socially responsible businesses must be the driving force in supporting our citizens. We call on everyone to unite in the fight against coronavirus and help our government address this issue. There is no time to waste. We must act now!".
The voice of the planet
In the same year, the Foundation initiated and financed a musical project, the song "Planet", created in collaboration with Yerkesh Shakeev. The composition recalls the fragility of nature and our responsibility to future generations.
"In mid-March, when we all found ourselves in quarantine, I had a thought that nature was punishing us for recklessly disrupting its delicate balance on the planet! With this in mind, I asked my friend Erkesh Shakeev to write a song and music that would reflect this injustice. After all, music has the power to touch the deepest strings of the human soul, making each of us reflect on what is happening".

Space for Growth
In 2021, the Serik Tolbassy Foundation allocated over 100 million tenge for the construction of a series of sports grounds in Shymkent. During the opening ceremony, Serik Tolbassy stated: "We want to create all the conditions for a healthy and happy childhood for our youth, and our foundation is ready to support any initiative related to this."

2023
Growth Without Limits
In 2023, the Serik Tolbassy Foundation became the official partner of the First Kazakhstan Wheelchair Tennis Cup. Based on the results of the tournament, a national team was formed to participate in an international competition held in Alghero, Italy. The foundation supported the Kazakhstani team by becoming its official sponsor.
